Baseline 3 Hour Safety Assessment

For any type of small business that employs 30 or less full time employees and operates in the Perth metropolitan area, we can undertake a 3 hour duration baseline Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) assessment of your workplace. The assessment will determine your compliance with the Western Australian Occupational Safety and Health Act and Regulations.

Please note that at this time Western Australia has not adopted the national uniform Workplace Health and Safety legislation so any audits to that proposed legislation are invalid.

The assessment uses the WorkSafe WA ThinkSafe Small Business Assessment Audit document. Whilst we use that document, the audit results are confidential between your organisation and Safety Resources Australia. WorkSafe WA is NOT provided with a copy of the audit report.

Following the assessment you will be provided with a report and an OH&S action plan that will detail suggested improvements that need to be made to ensure compliance with the OH&S legislation.. You can then select your own timetable to implement them. Alternatively, we can assist you with the implementation in order to make your workplace safer and thus prevent the costs associated with unwanted accidents and employee injuries.

Our consultancy fee for undertaking the assessment is $750.00 + GST. If your organisation is greater than 30 full time employees, we can still undertake the assessment, but the cost will be greater dependant on the size of the organisation. Please call us for a cost estimate.
